I have used this company three times and believe they are the best in Central. I called a different company for a quote and they wanted close to $4000 to replace my system, Peco put the exact same unit in for about half. Next year the unit upstairs was leaking, and the tech came out and spent an hour in the attic and resolved the issue for only the service charge. He recommended I upgrade the switch to stop it from happening again, and I was happy to pay the $150. Finally, they came out about three months ago because my upstairs unit would not start. They showed me what was wrong; they told me that it would cost $129 to replace 3 feet of cable that was outside. They even offered to show me how to do it myself if I wanted to be handy. I left it to the pros.

It was on a Thursday night that we heard a noise under the house. Friday morning we realized there was a problem with the water heater because we had no hot water. My husband looked under the house and water was leaking everywhere. Friday afternoon we went to PECO. Thankfully Jeremy was able to come Saturday morning. Within four hours the problem was resolved - which included replacing the water heater and adding an overflow tank. We are very thankful they were able to handle the situation so quickly. All went very smoothly. I am a retired air conditioning contractor so i am cautious. At first i was not sure because it was a separate company from what i called that i was forwarded to. Had these guys come out and replace an old 90's heat pump. They were reasonable with their quote, with good prices and equipment compared to the other quotes I had received. They had the new system up and running the day they installed it, and it's working great. They were all very clean, polite and good to talk to. They were willing to explain any questions or comments I had. The install was very neat and tidy, I love how they installed the indoor coils compared to the old system, or the ideas from the other quotes I had received. My only complaint would be that it took them two weeks from the day of the quote to get the equipment and be onsite for the installation. Which was fine in my situation because the weather was great those two weeks.

This year annual service ready for winter. The mechanic was in my crawl space in 35° made sure everything was clean running and safe I am very pleased his name is Barry. Last year: I recently bought a home on South Carolina and I called several companies to come take a look. The heat was not working. Peco identified the cracked heat exchanger the identified the gas valve regulator was not operating properly. They changed the evaporation tube, which was too small which was causing the heat exchanger to break and they offered me three choices of efficiency for new heat, they cleaned my air-conditioning coils. They gave me a brand new housing with a once a year pleated filter to change and they offered me ultraviolet air sanitizing, which I said yes the owner Mary was super helpful and knowledgeable her husband is a mechanical engineer . The service manager, Dustin wrote me a letter so I could submit a claim to the company that did the inspection because they failed to identify the cracked heat exchanger and the undersized evaporation tube I got back 2400 from the insurance company. I have found that most companies in Greenville preferred to offer a ridiculously hi price, hoping you will be a sucker and take it whereas Peco will give you the finest engineering equipment and service at a fair well deserved fee fee. Clean coils, money saving gas heat equipment Uc air sanitation ancantrally located air filter and a new smart thermostat with programmed circulation mode. Go ahead and shop around, and after you do call Peco and see what they have to say about what needs to be done in the pricing you will be pleasantly surprised. The technician did a good job overall, and was professional and a nice person. On the negative side, I didn't like that I had to pay for a motor blower which was installed & thought to be the problem, than a motor installed, which was thought to be the problem, and not working yet, then being told, after he talked with another technician, that I had a bad compressor. I already at this point had a $1000. invested and no working air conditioning. My question is, should I decide to take another direction with my air conditioning problem, can I get a refund for the motor & blower, or if I continue to have PECO attempt to get it running and put in a compressor what will the total cost end up? What if the motor or/blower that was in the unit was good....will that be refunded. The blower that was initially in it was working when I turned the thermostat on. Lots of questions!!!! Again, the tech worked hard at trying to figure out the problem. Please let me know the cost of a completely new unit as opposed to continuing to repair. Don Humes

And they sent a text message with his name and a picture of him. Jermey was our technician. He was very knowledgeable and agreed that that was the problem. He went and got the part and after he got back I was good to go in about 15-20 minutes. Jermey was very professional and nice he made me understand and showed me everything that he done. I was very pleased with his work. I would recommend PECO to anyone of my friends. Most definitely use them again if needed. I hope I don’t, but if I do, I will call PECO.

We have a Lennox high-efficiency HVAC system that worked great - until the hurricane. After that, our thermostats and zone control stopped working. I've had an excellent experience with the technicians and friendly office staff at PECO! I moved into a new home in central that had an old water heater, and no central heating and cooling system. They came and in just a few days set up my residence with a tankless water heater, dual fuel system and new duct work! I recently bought a townhouse that had a new HVAC system installed in 2024 but there were no records.
