MEMBERSHIP
Here at PECO Heating and Cooling, it is our mission to serve the customer at the highest level possible. To do that, we focus on four main principles: quality service, prompt service, honest communication, and fair pricing. That’s why we recommend our customers sign up for a planned maintenance agreement for all their heating and cooling systems.

Why Maintenance Agreements Matter
When we repair systems that have gone without their twice-a-year maintenance, it can be difficult to meet those four standards. The unit may be completely down and require a special-order part, which prevents us from providing the prompt service we strive for.
In some cases, systems have gone multiple years without maintenance, requiring deep cleanings—or worse, mold may develop inside the coil. These situations can be expensive, and it never feels fair to have to pay a large repair bill simply because an HVAC system became dirty or neglected.
Our maintenance agreement helps prevent these issues and includes a
10% discount on HVAC repairs, with multi-system discounts available.
Emergency Situations
We understand emergencies and always try to resolve them as quickly as possible. Sometimes this requires temporary solutions while waiting for parts or weather conditions to allow for repair. While these solutions can restore operation, they are not the level of quality service we aim to provide. Planned maintenance helps reduce the need for emergency-only fixes.
What’s Included in Each Maintenance Visit
Each maintenance agreement includes two planned maintenance visits per year, with the following services:
- Check the functionality of the auxiliary heat
- Check the condensation pump and drain
- Check electrical connections and clean if necessary
- Check the indoor coil for mold or corrosion
- Check the heat exchanger for rust or holes
- Check and clean the outdoor unit
- Check the amp draw of motors
- Check the amp draw of commonly failing electrical components
- Check insulation on the exterior line-set for damage
- Check contactors and capacitors
- Check overall system operation from the thermostat
- Check operating temperatures to ensure proper thermostat function
- Inspect furnace burners (if accessible)
- Check system start-up health
- Answer questions and provide appropriate recommendations
